Last weekend was the last of our Christmas Markets this year in France. We participated in 3 days of "marchés"; December 3 in Draveil, the city right next door, which was cold, rainy and very windy. One stall was completely upturned, but with some help they set up shop again and continued the day without further mishaps.
Our second weekend was December 10, 11 in the town I live in, Vigneux-sur-Seine. This year there were 39 stands and in spite of the cold we had a good turnout.
We'll just let the pictures tell the story!
A quartet and beasties add to the ambiance |
Mulled Wine helps stave off the cold! |
Even Santa (Papa Noël) can't resist a good Champagne |
wish I could have been there, love European festivities
